Popham Walter Burford Architects is a professional services firm providing architecture, engineering, planning, interior architecture, project management and related services to the health care industry. The predecessor firms of Popham Walter Burford Architects were established in 1977 and 1978. Our principals and senior staff are affiliated with the American Institute of Architects, Texas Society of Architects, Construction Specifications Institute, National Society of Professional Engineers, Health Facilities Institute, Federated Ambulatory Surgery Association, American Society of Interior Designers, and the International Interior Design Association. In addition, our staff members are registered to practice architecture, interior architecture, and engineering in numerous states. Popham Walter Burford Architects continue to provide planning and design expertise to a wide variety of domestic and international health care clients. In the belief that every client is unique and has special requirements, Popham Walter Burford Architects brings to every project a fresh approach, a commitment to design excellence and client satisfaction, and the most efficient project delivery methods. A team of professionals is assigned to each project through all phases of the work - from initial programming through schematic design, design development to construction documents and construction administration. Our project experience includes over 50 ambulatory surgery centers in 17 states, various types of diagnostic and treatment centers, new medical centers, additions and renovations to existing hospitals, cancer treatment facilities, medical office buildings, and specialized support buildings. Mr. Burford is Principal-In-Charge of all medical projects for the firm and has over twenty four years' experience in project development in the U.S., Southeast Asia, and the Pacific Rim. |
